The 16 Days of Activism Campaign against Gender-Based Violence

Worldwide, each year, the 16 Days of Activism Campaign against Gender-Based Violence starts from 25 November and continues to 10 December. Important international days considered during the campaign:

•          25 November - International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
•          3 December - International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
•          10 December - International Human Rights Day.

On 25^th Nov, 2021 ERRADA in White Nile ERRADA celebrated the 16 Days of Activism Campaign against Gender-Based Violence in Kadugli clinic with full cooperation and participation of the community, line ministries, NGOs  and CBOs who are active in the GBV sector. The events were converged by White Nile state media and Sudanese national television.  And this year campaign comes under the two main objectives:

• 1.        To raise awareness of communities on GBV and
• 2.       To admit and advocate for GBV prevention.
