Background
Emergency Relief, Rehabilitation and Development Agency (ERRADA) is a non-profit non-governmental Organization established by the Sudan Council of Churches (SCC) in 1997. It was officially registered with the government department Humanitarian Aid Commission (HAC) in 1998 on federal level to operate nationwide in the areas of emergency, relief, rehabilitation and development.20 years since its establishment, with its Vision, Mission and policies, ERRADA works in the delivery of integrated social and development services including Basic health care, Nutritional services, control of communicable disease, HIV/AIDs awareness, Support of Basic education, Disability awareness and Self-Advocacy, Gender base violence , livelihoods and food security, women empowerment through IGAs and other capacity building, Peace-Building and Conflict resolutions, Youth empowerment especially in Darfur and emergency preparedness and response, access to safe drinking water, sanitation and hygiene promotion and women empowerment .At present ERRADA implements 8 Projects in Sudan.
